Mixed Berry Yogurt Bites!
Summer is officially here and I’m sure we’re all feeling it! The sun is hot, the days are muggy, and nothing sounds better to beat the heat than a sweet frozen treat! Luckily you don’t always have to revert to ice creams that are chock full of added sugars and artificial flavors that supply very little actual nutrition. Instead you can give this simple 3 ingredient recipe for frozen yogurt bites that are not only the perfect way to satisfy your cravings, but are also gut healthy!
Outside of supplements, adding yogurts to your diet is one of the best and easiest ways to introduce a healthy dosage of probiotics to your gut. When choosing your yogurt, just be sure to read the label and confirm that it doesn’t contain any added or artificial flavors. Any of the options listed below offer an excellently high amount of live cultures that will make your microbiome very happy!

Mixed Berry Frozen Yogurt Bites
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of fresh mixed berries (washed and leaves removed)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- Granola (for garnish and crunch!)
Tools Needed:
- Mini muffin pan
- Mini muffin cup liners
- A food processor or other means of mashing fruit into a puree
- A piping bag
Instructions:
- Ready your muffin pan by adding the paper or reusable cups.
- Mash or pulse your berries into a smooth puree.
- In a separate bowl, mix puree and remaining ingredients until smooth.
- Add mix to the piping bag and pipe into each muffin slot until full but not overflowing the cups.
- Garnish the tops with a sprinkling of granola for added flavor and crunch! We love using a kind that has cocoa!
- Let sit in the freezer for one hour.
- Enjoy!
