Frozen Yogurt Banana Pops, Oh My!

Frozen Yogurt Banana Pops, Oh My!

The summer is a tempting time to dive into sugar loaded frozen treats but luckily there’s plenty of alternative ways to satisfy that sweet tooth and make your gut happy! Cousins to our Mixed Berry Yogurt Bites of last week, Frozen Yogurt Dipped Banana Pops are just as easy to make and just as good for you!

This treat is an exceptional choice for younger kids as most love bananas and this recipe is simple enough that they can help make them as well. These pops are also a far healthier alternative to grocery store bought or leading brand chocolate banana pops and popsicles that can contain high amounts of added sugars and artificial sweeteners. This is because all ingredients in this recipe are natural and nutritious!

  • Banana - an excellent source of potassium and folate.
  • Yogurt - chock full of probiotics!
  • Honey - a natural sweetener and tasty source of amino acids, vitamins, minerals, iron, zinc and antioxidants.
  • Cinnamon - can help support blood sugar control, protect against heart disease, and reduce inflammation.
    • Raw Cocoa - an effective source of fiber, protein, potassium, and magnesium.
